This is the only freelance work I do every year. I take one week of vacation and I shoot it. It is a dear project and I’m proud to share it. HABLA WOMEN is now airing on HBO Latino. I have lined produced this show for the past 5 years and it is always a great pleasure working with Alberto Ferreras, Trina Bardusco and their amazing CREW.

After many explorations and 2 design studios later we finally launched the Design Happy blog for HomeGoods. We worked closely with Eight Hour Day, and Red Antler to create this header. It was hard work, but it certainly paid off.

The budget was small and the timing was tight. Even so, we had to make magic happen. And make magic we did. We produced this digital shorts internally showing the client how nimble and cost efficient we can be if we all work as team.

Ten of this videos were shot in a 13 hours day. Every lighting set up was prepped in previs, DP Matt Workman, Director Mathew Pizzano and I worked closely with creative to make sure we had all we needed working as lean as possible.

It took us 15 days from the briefing to the delivery of all these videos. The budget should not be shared publicly.

Content today (in social environments) responds to culture temperature.

In my opinion, this is a good example of fast “premium” social responses from a brand to its fan base.

Last April, in collaboration with my friends Carlos Perez, Mario Chamorro and Sunnie Tolle, and Daniel Arenas we produced these images for a multimedia project that aims to crowd source 1,000,000 ways to a happier world. The project is ambitious and community is being build. These are some of the images we produced with photographer Danielle Levitt the day we launched the project at TED New Heaven.

I’m currently working with Carlos Perez, a great friend who is starting his own thing. He asked me to help him get a photographer on board to collaborate in the creation of a book for TED X NEW HAVEN. The book will serve as seed for a movement which goal will be to find 1.000.000 creative ways to make our planet a happier world. Danielle Levitt is already on board and will take the portraits, and this April 28th, during the TED X HAPPINESS event we will shoot attendants and panelist and ask them a simple question: How would you make a happier world? I love the idea of compiling 1.000.000 real people images and thoughts. At this point we are producing the book, and investing some dollars from our pockets. But we are really hoping to find funding to create an online platform that will host the movement. Stay tuned for our Kickstater!

This year The National Distributor’s Convention was more challenging than ever before. With less time, we needed to produce not one, but 2 brand presentations: TECATE and INDIO. In three weeks we produced a live action shot, 11 minutes of animation, and a live performance with 6 talent on stage. Featured video animation was created to present the new TECATE MICHELLADA. Animation was produced in collaboration with Plenty in Buenos Aires.

Heineken USA is introducing INDIO in U.S.A. and to present the brand for the distributors, we produced a multimedia presentation that started with a DJ Patafunk appearance the night before of the presentation at the Heineken Expo at Atlanta’s Marriott Marquee. The next day, distributors were part of our presentation which included Smell-O-Vision, a live performance with 6 talent on stage, 11 minutes of full animation, and a closing show by DJ guest Patafunk. The energy of our presentation was without a doubt the highest of all that day.

Indio’s presentation was schedule to start after lunch, and took advantage of it. To generate expectation as soon as lunch break was called, we created a line with 6 Aztec warriors leading to the exit of the theater, towards the tent where catering was set up. when distributors came back from lunch they found themselves trapped in the lobby of the theater. Our Aztec warriors blocked the entrances to the theater, where we release scent of jungle, fog and projected an Aztec piramide in the huge scenic screen of the theater. At call, our warriors granted access to all distributors to the theater, when doors opened, smell of jungle invaded the lobby and the distributor got to enter the INDIO WORLD.

This is a WIP presentation i’m writing and it shows my vision of my job, and what I’m looking for as producer.

I like always having a personal project in progress, and 2012 is the year to kickoff the production of my first book collaboration. A form of content I have no experience on. I’m looking forward to working for the next 2 or 3 years in bringing this project to live. Mark Mann a great scottish celebrities and sports photographer is in charge of the portraits. Our first stop was México City and with the help of 211 Kickstarter backers we raised the funds to go shoot. We had tons of fun with Cardinal Films, and with the fantastic wrestling community they have down in México. We shot 42 wrestlers, fans and personalities who work behind the scenes of the Lucha Libre industry. We are looking to go to Japan Next and after that shooting in the States, to compile a trilogy about The Mythology of Wrestling.

Stay tuned!
